QI ZHOU is currently a PGR student in AHVC, mainly researching export porcelain during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. She gained a bachelor's degree from Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute, China, and then a master's degree from the University of Leicester, UK (Art Gallery and Museum Studies) before joining the University of Exeter in 2020. She is particularly interested in the porcelain exchange between China and the West, and how such Chinese-European contacts and connection represented the connation in the discourses of philosophy, religion, economy, and politics.
